Micro Insurance Agency is currently seeking to fill the following positions.
Finance Manager – Microinsurance
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Finance Manager to
manage our Ghana office’s finance and
accounts function. Responsibilities will
include: maintain the accounts and financial
records (using Sage 50), control all invoicing
and payment collection, ensure that all
financial systems, procedures, and controls
are effective, make month-end account
reconciliations, monitor financial and
expense transactions, arrange for transfer
funds from and to MicroEnsure Head Office,
maintain appropriate bank accounts, and
arrange for the annual audit.
Additionally, you will support the Country
Manager in developing strategic plans
and annual budgets, and contribute to the
MicroEnsure Ghana management team.
Qualifications
You should have a professional accounting
or finance qualification, 5-10 years relevant
experience, knowledge of Sage or similar
software package and excellent skills
in MS Excel, experience in payroll, and
understanding of International Financial
Reporting Standards, ideally including US
GAAP. You must be fluent in English.
